La release date di Uncharted: Collect the Legacy of Thieves may have leaked from Steam. Over the past couple of years, PlayStation has brought some of its best games to PC, and now it's the turn of this chapter of the Uncharted series.
The first major title to move to PC was Horizon Zero Dawn, which was very successful, helping to set a precedent for the future of the platform owner's first party strategy. Following in the wake of the Xbox, it appears that PlayStation has realized that it can achieve ato a much wider audience introducing its exclusives on PC.
Video games could also be used to attract other users to the ecosystem. For example, if you buy Horizon Zero Dawn on PC, you might be so in love with the title that you decide to buy Horizon Forbidden West, direct heir of the first, on PlayStation instead of waiting for the PC version.
The next big PC port is Uncharted: Collecting the Legacy of Thieves, one remastered collection of Uncharted 4 and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. This title could arrive on the new platform during the summer of 2022. According to what has been leaked, SteamDB, Naughty Dog and Iron Galaxy Studios would have updated the database of Steam by entering the release date: July 15 2022.
There is no date available on the actual game page and it may be a placeholder, therefore an indicative launch day, but not definitive. However, the database update may indicate a upcoming official announcement. Furthermore, it is likely that the final date, if it were different from the one indicated, will not be very far from July 2022.
Sony has already released Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collecting on PlayStation 5, on the occasion of the release of Uncharted in theaters, but many have wondered why the release on PC was not aligned. As this is a remaster, the reason for the delay is unclear. The collection was probably postponed for a few months, but no more.
