Solution 1: Use Device Manager
Step 1: press the Windows key + X together on the keyboard and select Device administrator give the menu answer.
Step 2: A Device administrator window, scroll down and expand Network adapters. Now, right-click on Miniport WAN (SSTP) and select Uninstall device from the menu.
Step 3: Repeat the same process shown in Step 2 to Uninstall device for all Miniporti listed below one by one:
- WAN Miniport (PPTP)
- Miniport WAN (PPPOE)
- WAN miniport (network monitor)
- Miniport WAN (L2TP)
- Miniport WAN (IPv6)
- Miniport WAN (IP)
- Miniport WAN (IKEv2)
4 phase: Now click on the file Action tab at the top of the window and select Check for hardware changes give the menu answer.
This will reinstall all WAN miniports as they were before. So you basically install them again and now your VPN should work again.
Solution 2: disable the proxy
1. Press Tasto Windows + R to open the run command box.
2. Write inetcpl.cpl on it and click ok.
