The war in Ukraine wanted by Vladimir Putin is killing even civilians every day and no one can and must stand by and watch, not even the videogame world which, in these days, has seen Fortnite and Epic Games protagonists of a wonderful action in support of the Ukrainian people.
The famous battle royale, in fact, has donated 144 million dollars to various associations that, in these very hard weeks, have dealt with providing assistance to citizens gripped by war.. A frightening figure that, we are sure, will be used to give a smile to millions of people in difficulty.
How did we come up with this donation? Epic Games announced that it would donate the proceeds generated by Fortnite, along with those of Microsoft, accumulated over two weeks in favor of various associations. On the first day alone, $ 36 million was raised.
The associations that will benefit from this donation are Direct Relief, United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, United Nations Children's Fund and the World Food Program. These are organizations that have been providing assistance to the Ukrainian people for weeks now.

Unfortunately, the war in Ukraine has not stopped yet but thanks to Fortnite and various software houses that have donated several million dollars, Ukrainian citizens can count on precious allies to make these days a little less dark.
We told you about the donation made by CD Projekt RED, the one made by Pokémon, and numerous other initiatives in support of Ukraine and condemning the cowardly Russian attack. It is good that these initiatives do not stop, because the situation, unfortunately, is far from being resolved.
As mentioned, in these hard times everyone must do what they can and even the videogame world has responded present to launch a strong message of humanity, union and hope, because we would only like to see war in video games, study it in history books and do not live it in reality.
