Windows is a great operating system, but it's known for annoying bugs and bugs. All Windows users often face problems with their computer, the Internet is full of numerous Windows problems (and we have covered many of them).
One such problem is that Windows freezes when connecting to the Wi-Fi network. A small loading pointer is common, but it presents a problem if the screen freezes for more than 2-3 seconds. We have discovered two solutions for this problem, listed below.
Method 1: update the wireless adapter driver
In Windows, most problems can be solved simply by updating the driver for the hardware malfunction. Drivers are the educational program that makes conversation between the operating system and hardware possible. Therefore, it is essential to always have the latest drivers.
Updating the wireless network driver will definitely fix your Wi-Fi related problem. Follow the steps below to update the network driver.
1 STEP: Click the button in the notification panel (message icon in the right corner), click flight mode tile to turn it on.
2 STEP: Connect your computer to the Internet using the Ethernet cable. If you don't have an Ethernet connection, you can use USB tethering from any Android smartphone.
PHASE 3: Right-click the start button and select Device administrator option.
PHASE 4: In the Device Manager window, find Network adapters and expand it. It will list the network card hardware on your computer.
PHASE 5: Locate your Wi-Fi hardware, right click on it and select update the driver.
PHASE 6: Click on 'Automatically searches for updated driver software', it will automatically find and install an updated driver for your hardware.
Method 2: Manually update the drivers for the wireless hardware
Many times Windows is unable to update the drivers automatically, so we have to update the drivers manually by downloading them from the manufacturer's website and installing them. Follow the steps below to do the same.
STEP 1: Go to your computer manufacturer's website and go to the support page. Browse or find your model number.

STEP 2: Select the Drivers and Downloads tab and then choose the file operating work and it will list the drivers that need to be updated.
STEP 3: Scroll down and find Driver in airplane mode, Download and extract it.
STEP 4: locate Wireless / Wi-Fi controller adapter, download it and extract it too.
STEP 5: Copy the path to the wireless controller folder you just extracted from the zip file.
STEP 6: Open Device Manager by right-clicking the start button and then selecting the Device Manager option.
STEP 7: Select and expand the wireless adapter driver, right click and select update the driver.
STEP 8: Select Browse my computer for the driver software.
STEP 9: In the next window, select Let me choose from a list of drivers available on my computer.
STEP 10: Click Have disc in the next message.
STEP 11: Paste the path you copied into the text box and click ok. Wait for the driver software to install and then start again the computer.
STEP 12: Copy the path of the airplane mode driver from the folder you extracted earlier and reopen Device Manager.
STEP 13: Locate Human interface devices and expand it. Right-click the airplane mode switch and select Update Driver.
STEP 14: Select Browse my computer for the driver software option.
STEP 15: In the next window, select Let me choose from a list of drivers available on my computer.
STEP 16: Click There is a disk in the next message.
STEP 17: Paste the driver software path into the text box and click ok.
STEP 18: Restart the computer again to apply all changes.
