Demos have always been something really important in the gaming world, and that's it from the end of the 90s and the beginning of the new century. In fact, allowing players to play the final version of a game "in advance" is something that could increase the desire of players to get that particular title. And it is for this reason that Xbox Game Pass will very soon have implemented the demo system that could make you understand which game is right for you.
The giant of the videogame industry has unveiled the so-called "Project Moorcroft". The latter will allow developers to publish demos of their games thanks to Xbox Game Pass. So anyone who is subscribed to the service will have access to this news. The only thing that could go “against” the development of demos from inserting into the service is about not having time to make it happen. But Microsoft Xbox has made it known that anyone who participates will be rewarded, as reported by TechRadar.
Also it could be a great way for indie developers to have a showcase within the service, so as not to be overshadowed by the triple A games which are certainly more welcome, especially by those who don't play very often.
As for the release date of this implementation, unfortunately we do not know it, but Microsoft has explained that it should come out within this year. It is possible that Microsoft will give some more information regarding the demos during the Xbox & Bethesda showcase, an event that will go aired on 12 June at 19pm.
Another element that you may be hearing about is the arrival of Xbox Game Pass on televisions, so that it is much more convenient to be able to access the service in the cloud. Google Stadia also allows the same thing, but of course see the numerous titles of the Microsoft platform, including its stability, is definitely much more attractive than Google's cloud console, which sadly still navigates troubled waters.
