It was already available for a long time progetto remake fan made di The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, first developed in Unreal Engine 4 (as already covered by us in this article) and now it has become a project in U. A few days ago, CryZENx brought the Temple of Time demo to Unreal Engine 5 with support for both UE5's Lumen and NVIDIA's DLSS technology.
The same user CryZENx, on his youtube channel, showed some videos, first presenting in the eyes of the visitors some videos of the fan game made in U, and then a few days ago showing the videos of the project, always fan made by himself, but using the new one U.
According to CryZENx, the Unreal Engine 5 graphics engine has many new features that can increase the quality of this remake. Lumen technology seems to work great with this graphics engine, and gamers will also be able to take advantage of DLSS and achieve a 20% performance increase (setting from Quality to Ultra Performance).
Unfortunately, this demo of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time in Unreal Engine 5 it is behind a Patreon, and as such only the aforementioned members may have the opportunity to download and test it. However, this is an early access version, and hopefully a free full version will be released later this year.
Anyway, what CryZENx has created so far is nothing short of all our respect, even though this project has been in development for more than six years it is one of the best fan remakes around. The developer even had the foresight to add co-op mode, something that was completely absent in the original Nintendo game released on. June 16 2011.
There is nothing but a simple sentence that would sound more or less like a "if you have never played it or if you want to relive the adventure in modern times with renewed graphics, this is the right time to do it".
